Flaky Dessert

From nan's book. Cream crackers layered with vanilla pudding and Cool Whip, lemon pie filling on top.

Ingredients
  • 1 package unsalted Premium crackers
  • 1 large package vanilla pudding
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 1 can lemon pie filling
Method
  1. Make up the vanilla pudding, then blend in the Cool Whip.
  2. In a 9 by 13 pan, layer crackers, then pudding, then crackers.
  3. Mix the lemon pie filling and spread it over the top.
  4. Chill several hours or overnight, until the crackers have softened right through.

Notes

Written in nan's book as: 1 pk unsalted Premium crackers, 1 large pk vanilla pudding, large Cool Whip. Mix pudding. Blend in Cool Whip. 9x13 pan layer crackers, pudding then crackers. Mix lemon pie filling and put on top.

The lemon pie filling only shows up in her method, not in the ingredient list. It is listed here so you buy it.

The chilling time is not written down. It will not set or soften without it.
