Ginger Bread
Four spices, a cup of molasses, a cup of boiling water at the end. The batter is meant to be thin.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup Mazola oil
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp all spice
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup boiling water
Method
- Place the eggs, sugar, molasses, oil and spices in a bowl and beat well.
- Dissolve 2 tsps baking soda in 2 tbsp of hot water and stir into the mixture.
- Then add 2 cups flour and beat well.
- Add 1 cup of boiling water and mix. The batter will be very thin.
- Pour into a tube pan and bake for 45 minutes at 350.
Notes
In pencil under the method: try 1/2 cup cocoa and 1 cup chocolate chips.
