Star Dust Salad

A two layer moulded jelly salad, pineapple and cream cheese below, raspberry on top.

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg pineapple jelly
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1 tin cream
  • 1 tin crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 pkg cream cheese (8 oz)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 pkg raspberry jelly (for the top)
  • ⅔ cup boiling water (for the top)
  • ⅔ cup cold water (for the top)
Method
  1. Add 1/2 cup boiling water to the pineapple jelly. Mix and let cool.
  2. Add 1 tin cream, then 1 tin drained crushed pineapple.
  3. Add the 8 oz package of cream cheese.
  4. Add 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
  5. Mix with beaters and put into a mould. Let set well.
  6. Then add to the top: raspberry jelly dissolved in 2/3 cup boiling water with 2/3 cup cold water.
