Tea Biscuits
Three cups of flour, three quarters of a cup of butter and a cup of raisins. Vanilla or pineapple flavouring.

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla or pineapple flavouring
- 1 or 2 eggs
- ¾ cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup raisins
Method
- Heat the oven to 350.
- Mix the flour, sugar and baking powder together.
- Cut in the butter until it looks like coarse crumbs.
- Beat the egg with the milk and the flavouring, then stir it in along with the raisins. Do not overwork it.
- Turn out, pat to about an inch thick and cut.
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Notes
Her page gives the ingredients and the bake only. The mixing method is the ordinary one for a tea biscuit.
She wrote one or two eggs. Two gives a richer biscuit.
